Kikuchi Guitars is a Japanese boutique brand founded by master luthier Yoshi Kikuchi, whose work is shaped by decades of experience building high-quality instruments for some of the world’s most respected guitar makers.

The designs pay clear respect to the classics, but don’t let familiar shapes fool you. Rooted in a deeply Japanese mindset of continuous refinement, every Kikuchi instrument represents an evolution rather than a reinvention. Attention is given not only to what you see, but especially to what you feel and hear.

Sansone Strings 

Sansone bass strings are made from selected stainless steel: a higher grade of stainless steel that has been carefully researched and chosen. Combined with the production methods of the strings, the braiding and overlapping winding layers of the lower strings (with two, three or four overlapping windings) are manufactured using an exclusive proprietary Sansone system. The result is a string with extremely fast sound transmission and exceptional responsiveness to touch.
